Fremont, CA (May 2, 2016) – AER Worldwide, a solutions provider of IT assets, reverse logistics and end-of-life processes, concluded their efforts for Earth Day 2016.  AER Worldwide supported many of their clients that help Earth Day events. AER Worldwide provided transportation, drop off locations, pallets, bins, and staff support, to help in gathering unwanted and recyclable equipment.

In all, AER Worldwide provided support to their customers from multiple locations and filled over 184 pallets of equipment.  All coming from their customers and other locals that dropped off the obsolete items in support Earth Day.

AER Worldwide, after gathering the equipment, then covered the cost to transport the recycled goods to an AER Worldwide facility.  AER then began to process the electronic waste. This activity of processing includes verifying any equipment with personal or company information is handled properly, as to protect the individual and company information. Then processing efforts will be turned to the actual recycling, and destroying the units so they can then be handled through next steps.

“Our goal is to recycle not only on Earth Day, but everyday.  It is to protect information through proper disposition. We want our clients and their customers to know they are safe when they dispose of old equipment”, said AER Worldwide Vice President of Operations, Salim Hajizi. “We are focused on the planet everyday of the year and do our best to help our customers with their environmental efforts as well.”
